Wow, what a day!! it is 11pm now and I am just about to fall face first into my pillow asleep after staying up until 2am last night talking about politics with my father-in-law, I am so so so tired!!!...

but not before I share these great images. I so much enjoyed photographing the cutest little baby chunky legs ever... and he was so patient and calm and even happy for hours. He loved his own feet and I thought that was the cutest!!! It makes me remember what I loved having my little babies around.. and it goes so fast I cannot believe I am even saying that it is a distant memory for me already!!!...

A warm breeze

Today was a day full of beautiful green grass and wonderful warm breezes, wearing rain boots with pretty dresses, playing with papa on the driving range, riding in golf carts, chasing the butterflies, hat hair, counting freckles, snuggling with blankie, giving up the paci, scraped knees and a pinched finger, buying new camera equipment, watching man made waterfalls in Durham, giggling, laughing and three time outs... This was our day today...

Tricia and Dale are Jumping in!!!

I Just love the story of Tricia and Dale meeting on the swim team, so essentially they met in the pool, that is why it was so much fun that they agreed to jump into a freezing cold swimming pool yesterday to get these fantastic images!!!! Yes they are jumping into life together and so beautifully as such good friends...

Tricia has planned everything about her wedding so beautifully and has such amazing taste!! So does her father who is a builder and let us hang out in this beautiful castle yesterday to play and take some amazing photographs!!! One of my favorite part of the house was the French inspired elevator!!

We also had fun just running around town together finding great backdrops for their love to shine.

I had a great time with you both, can't wait for the wedding in August!!!

I find great joy in also getting to create images that remind me of an old polaroid image or old black and white photo booth images. When I can achieve that effect with my digital, I feel very pleased.

Enjoy!!!

Wow, I am having a really hard time blogging right now because my home team, the college that gave me so much before I transferred to UT Knox is now losing the final championship game in overtime as I write this. I think my heart will just beat right out of my chest in a minute!!!

We had fun yesterday, Kathi, Paul, Angela and I running around all over downtown Raleigh, taking some fun photos and making each other laugh. Did I ever say that I love my job?
Kathi and Paul, it was so much fun to meet you both. You are such an inspiration being such love birds after five years being married and all. I felt like I was photographing newlyweds all day!!

Now I must get to bed because I think Memphis just handed over the ball game!!!! a little tear, but I will be ok. I just hope my brother will too!!!

Alone with my two for three days!

What a blessing the last three days have been. My two and I went a explorin' all the way up to VA. Here are a few pics from our adventures and to see the rest of the story click here and sign up to be a friend on the flickr site to see more.

We went to a hotel and the Transportation museum and yes, the IHOP can be a real treat on a rainy morning. Can you believe that hotels are starting to charge extra for the waffles and eggs and such and they are so gross. So to IHOP we went.

One night in search for a restaurant, we stumbled across this old hot dog whole in the wall and decided to stop. What a perfect photo opportunity!! The children loved hearing the story about the hot dog stand which had been there for 78 years. Notice the sign on the door.
