My life...Is good

I am ridiculously behind on blogging, but that is what moving and destroying my office and all the organization I had worked so hard all year to get did to me!!! especially since I moved the whole office during the busiest month of my life.

So no blogging and then my blog post today is a direct ramification of the ripple affect, which I finally think I pulled it back together now and am good to go.

Thanks so much to you all for patience and understanding. For several weeks, I didn't know if I would make it.

Thanks to all the wonderful families out there that I have photographed this month, It has been a privilege!

I am so excited!!! tomorrow a good friend is coming to visit... I call her my adopted mom. She is flying from Nashvegas to see me and spend a few days!! How exciting! I will have to post some pics on Monday.

I have had so many sessions in the Past month, that I will only be able to post a few moments... I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. (Tricia and Dale, here is a sneak peak)

For my friends who are begging me to show them my paintings, here is a sneak preview of my new series... LOts of layers and denying the picture plane.

For my family and far away friends, here is a look into the first day of first grade with no teeth and a daughter who thinks she is a bird, owl, sloth, spider and a dog 90 percent of the time... this day, however, she was a princess with a pet bird. I was relieved that she was still a human! and it was a wonderful break from the barking noises she likes to make!

OKAY this is being really vulnerable, but I had to share this because It was so amazing that I couldn't stand it!!!

During the wedding we photographed at St. Francis of Assisi last weekend, Which, by-the-way was so beautiful and wonderful!! and images will be posted very soon,

During the moment where Tricia and Dale where exiting the church as a newly wed couple, I backed fiercely into the solid stone holy water stand right on the bum!!!

It was the kind of pain that took my breath away and made the world stop in an instant, yet I continued to work.

And, I think the solid granite stand tipped and almost fell over...

Although there are many many extremely beautiful pictures that I will be posting very soon, and also I am going to be posting a series of images from all the time that moving in to our new house has prevented me from getting simple things done, like blogging every day or the laundry, so keep on the look out for those.

I simply could not resist posting this photo. this photo is not altered in any way other than making it black and white to spare you the skin tones and a softener to spare you the bum photo resemblance.

And Yes, my husband took the photo, and he is not a professional.

That dark bruise that you see is a result from hitting the holy water stand!!!

when I saw the bruise as I got into the shower, I screamed out loud and laughed til I cried!!!as I looked in the mirror to check on the painful spot and to my surprise, it had morphed into a near perfect heart on my bum... I called Timberly right away and we laughed so hard. She is one of the only one besides Tricia and Dale that was there and saw the event in action.

thought that the images would be worth something, kind of like the nun bun at Bongo Java in nashville!!!

Yes, this is a holy bruise of God's love!!!

Check back, because after tomorrow's wedding with Eddie, I will try to post at least twice a week after that.
